Academic Support

Every day after school, our Lincoln Bobcats spend time in a small group working on academic skills in math and literacy. We believe that a small group of 5 or 6 students encourages a close relationship with a caring adult as well as the peer support necessary to improve academically.

Each student has developed a personal goal in math, reading, and positive behavior, and they can earn points toward leveled rewards based upon their success socially and academically.

Parent Involvement

Parents and families are vital to student success. The Lincoln Promise Community Learning Center offers opportunities for parents to get to know each other, learn how to help their students at home and at school, and become parent leaders at Lincoln Elementary.

Parents have the opportunity to participate in Family Excursions as their student earns them.

Small group leaders and teachers look forward to sharing student progress throughout their time in the Learning Center.

Enrichment

Lincoln Bobcats have the opportunity to participate in many exciting activities. On Fridays, students can choose to participate in “Fun Friday” activities, which include:

  • CATCH Club
  • East Asian Studies Club
  • Garden Club
  • Lacrosse Club

Family Café is held the third Thursday of each month. Students participating in the Learning Center and their families are treated to a home-cooked meal. Family Café is an opportunity for families to connect with one another and the school and Learning Center staff.
